The Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) at the College of Islamic Studies, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, invites you to the launch of Key Classical Works on Islamic Ethics by Dr. Mutaz al-Khatib. This book is the seventh volume in the Studies in Islamic Ethics series.
Published by CILE in collaboration with Brill, this book challenges the narrow Greek-centered perspective on ethics, presenting Islamic ethics as a dynamic, interdisciplinary field. It explores ethical thought across Qurʾān, Ḥadīth, Sīrah, theology, jurisprudence, Sufism, and philosophy, highlighting the depth, diversity, and intellectual richness of Islamic ethical discourse.
