More Achievements by CIS Faculty: Publication Recognitions

The College of Islamic Studies (CIS), to which the Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) is affiliated, is pleased to announce the following outstanding recognitions achieved recently by its hardworking faculty and researchers.

• Dr. Frank Peter has recently published his book, Islam and the Governing of Muslims in France: Secularism without Religion (Bloomsbury), which boldly and analytically tackles a highly contentious subject.

• The book, Fintech, Digital Currency and the Future of Islamic Finance, co-edited by Dr. Syed Nazim Ali and with a chapter contribution from Dr. Evren Tok, was ranked the number one book in the world in the banking field.

• The book, Migration and Islamic Ethics, authored by Dr. Ray Jureidini, has been identified as one of the top five accessed e-books in Brill from its catalog of 20,000 e-book titles.

• Dr. Alexandre Caeiro has been offered a fellowship at Harvard Law School’s program on ‘Law and Society in the Muslim World’ for Spring 2022.

These are just few of many achievements that have emerged from CIS scholars’ efforts and we look forward to the future outputs of their diligent and conscientious endeavors in contributing to current areas of relevance.
