CILE International Seminar "Artificial Intelligence: Theoretical Foundations, Applications and Governing Policies"

As part of its long-term plans to examine the interplay of Islamic Ethics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) organized an Internal Seminar on the 18-19 May, 2020, under the title:

Artificial Intelligence: Theoretical Foundations, Applications and Governing Policies.

The aim of this seminar was to improve the knowledge of researchers and specialists in Islamic Ethics and cognate fields in Islamic Studies to explore the possible venues for examining the interplay of AI and Islamic Ethics, coordinate research projects and eventually develop an interdisciplinary AI Islamic Ethics Discourse.

This seminar focused on two main themes:

  • Theoretical Foundations & Applications
