Saloua Chaoudri
Moroccan singer and composer

Saloua Chaoudri was born in Tétouan, December 1967. She is an Arab singer and composer specializing in Arab songs. She has lectured at the Music Institute of Rabat where she teaches the art of muwashshahat (multi-lined strophic verse poems written in classical Arabic that are usually consisting of five stanzas alternating with a refrain with a running rhyme), and at the Music Institute in Tétouan where she teaches classical music. She had her bachelors in Arab Literature and is now an M.A. candidate. She is also the head of Moroccan Culture and Arts Society and a co-founder and member of the Kind Heart Society for cardiac and arterial patients.
