Colleen Ward is Professor of Cross-cultural Psychology and Co-Director of the Centre for Applied Cross-cultural Research, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She received her PhD from the University of Durham (UK) and has subsequently held teaching and research positions at the University of the West Indies (Trinidad), Science University of Malaysia, National University of Singapore, and the University of Canterbury (NZ). Professor Ward is Past-President of the Asian Association of Social Psychology and the International Academy of Intercultural Research and is currently the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Intercultural Relations. Her research interests are primarily in areas of acculturation and intercultural relations.
