Dr Richard Shaw obtained his PhD from the University of London upon completion of a thesis entitled “Classical Biological Control of Weeds in Europe: Principles and Practice”. Currently, he is the Regional Coordinator for Invasives (Europe & The Americas) and the Deputy Director of CABI E-UK. His principal areas of xxpertise include: Invasive species management, policy and practice; Programme & project development & management; Classical biological control of weeds; Public relations and media.
