Associate Professor of Public Health, Qatar University
Assistant professor of public health at Qatar University, she holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and is an honorary fellow at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Her research interests are in the area of health promotion, disease prevention, allergy, cancer, palliative care, ethnic and social inequality in health, and religion/spirituality in relation to health. She uses both qualitative and quantitative methods and has published papers in a number of international scientific journals.
