Assistant Professor of Media, Yarmouk University, Jordan
Mahmoud al-Samasiri is Assistant Professor of media at Yarmouk University, Jordan. He is also the secretary general of the International Council for Reconstruction of Islamic Thought in Cairo, Egypt. He wrote his M.A. and Ph.D. theses on media from an Islamic perspective. He has authored various books and articles in the field of Islamic media and in Islamic thought in general.
<p>The Center for Islamic Legislation & Ethics (CILE) held its second annual international conference under the title "Ethics in a Changing World: Contemporary Perspectives" during the period 15-16 March 2014, Doha, Qatar.
