Dr. İbrahim Özdemir
Environmentalist and professor of philosophy, ecology and religion, Ankara University, Turkey

Dr. Özdemir İbrahim was born in Turkey in 1960. He obtained his PhD in Philosophy from the Middle East Technical University in 1996. His membership of professional bodies include:
Fulbright Board between 2003 and 2010, UNESCO Turkish Commission Board between 2005 and 2010,  American Academy of Religion between 2001 and 2002, The Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions (CPWR), between 1999 and 2004, The Research Center for Environmental Studies, Ankara University between 1994 and 2005, Turk Felsefe Dernegi (The Turkish Philosophical Association) between 2001 and 2009, in addition to TEMA, (Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, for Reforestation and the Protection of Natural Habitats) between 2000 and 2004.
